Smooth, Flowing Ninja ZX Styling
All-new styling is inspired by the Ninja ZX-10R while embodying the ideal supersport image. New front and side cowls create a design that flows smoothly from head to tail. Compact new headlights and an intricately layered front cowl give the Ninja ZX-6R its new “face,” while blacked out engine covers and silencer add to the supersport image and LED turn signals complete an all-LED lighting package.

Performance Optimized for Advantage Street-Riding Exhilaration
With race-based engine and chassis performance optimized for the street, the Ninja ZX-6R offers riding exhilaration in a wide range of riding situations. While its roots give it a high potential for track-riding fun, its street-riding focus makes it the 600ccclass supersport of choice for a day of riding in the canyons or over mountain passes.

Advanced Technology
Traction control, supersport-grade brake management, selectable power modes and quick shifter are now complemented by full colour TFT instrumentation with a number of new features including smartphone connectivity and integrated riding modes.

4.3” TFT Colour Instrumentation with Smartphone Connectivity
The new 4.3” all-digital TFT colour instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech, high-grade appearance. In addition to smartphone connectivity, the new meter also offers a number of meter features unavailable on the previous model.

Integrated Riding Modes
Four integrated riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain or Rider (manual)) make it simple to select a level of traction control and power mode to suit the current riding conditions.

The 636 Advantage: 636 cm3 Liquid- Cooled, 4-Stroke In-Line Four
The advantage offered by the Ninja ZX-6R’s 37 cm3 greater displacement is significant for real world riding exhilaration. Greater performance across the rpm range is welcome when sport riding, both on back roads and on the racetrack. But stronger low and mid-range torque compared to “ordinary” mid-size supersport models also offers increased usability in everyday street riding situations, like riding in stop-and-go city traffic or accelerating to pass another vehicle on the highway. Updates for 2024 include emissions-related adjustments.

Large Brake Discs, Monobloc Calipers
Highly rigid, radial-mount monobloc calipers deliver a firm feel at the lever for superb control. Large Ø 310 mm disc brakes and a radial pump front brake master cylinder complete the front brake package, ensuring powerful braking with excellent feel. A Ø 220 mm disc brake and lightweight caliper slows the rear wheel. New round discs similar in style to those of the Ninja ZX-10R contribute to the strong Ninja ZX family image.

Sporty Windscreen
Short windscreen contributes to the Ninja ZX-6R’s supersport image. Like the Ninja ZX-10R, the front cowl supports the sides of windshield. Holes in the windshield relieve pressure build-up behind the screen to help reduce buffeting when riding at elevated speeds.

Definitive Ninja Face
Compact new hybrid projector/reflector headlights are a key element of the Ninja ZX-6R’s new face. Mono-focus LED technology is supplemented by deep-set reflectors that make the unlit parts of the headlight appear dark, creating a fierce expression. The front cowl’s intricately layered design is complemented by winglet-style inlets and angled chin spoilers to form a highly distinctive image.

3D Interwoven Bodywork
Like the design of the tail cowl, the front and side cowls use interwoven layers to create a 3D effect, with the multiple layers adding to the high-class design. The bodywork’s smooth, flowing design draws the eye from head to tail and hints at the Ninja ZX-6R’s street-focused supersport performance.

Pressed Aluminium Perimeter Frame
Race-developed perimeter frame is the key to the Ninja ZX-6R’s superb balance of flickable handling, mid-corner composure and an ability to change lines on command, coupled with excellent chassis feedback.

KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter)
Standard-equipment quick shifter allows clutchless upshifts, adding to sport riding fun.

Naturally Aggressive Ergonomics
Riding position ideal for sport riding offers an intuitive fit that puts riders instantly at ease. Tank, seat and rear frame offer good contact with the bike for enhanced rider feedback.

SFF-BP (Separate Function Fork – Big Piston)
Combining the concepts of Showa SFF and BPF, this advanced fork offers both racetrack performance and everyday usability. Preload and damping (rebound & compression) are separated, facilitating setup.

Power Mode Selection
Riders can choose from Full Power or Low Power mode.

KTRC (Kawasaki TRaction Control)
Three modes cover a wide range of riding conditions, offering either enhanced sport riding performance or the peace of mind under certain conditions to negotiate low-traction surfaces with confidence.

KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System)
Kawasaki’s SuperSport-grade high-precision brake management system, designed to take into account the particular handling characteristics of SuperSport motorcycles, ensures highly efficient braking with minimal intrusion during sport riding.

KTRC (3-mode)
3-Mode KTRC (Kawasaki TRaction Control), Kawasaki's most advanced traction control system, offers a selection of modes to suit a variety of riding situations, from sport riding to touring.

KQS - Kawasaki Quick Shifter
KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter) enables clutchless shifting.

KIBS
KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System) is a high-precision brake system designed specifically for supersport models, offering highly efficient braking while maintaining natural feel.

Smartphone Connectivity
Smartphone connectivity contributes to an enhanced motorcycling experience by enabling riders to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly.

Assist & Slipper Clutch
Based on racing technology, the Assist & Slipper Clutch acts as both a back-torque limiter and a self-servo mechanism that enables a lighter clutch lever pull.

Power Modes
Power Mode selection allows engine power delivery to be changed to suit the riding situation.

Economical Riding Indicator
The Economical Riding Indicator is a mark appearing on the instrument panel to indicate favourable fuel consumption, encouraging fuel efficient riding.

ABS
ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) ensures stable braking performance by preventing wheel lock during braking.
