- Kawasaki

W800, the latest member of a fifty year Kawasaki W dynasty with an attention to detail and level of engineering craftsmanship that few machines possess. From the assured, easy handling to the evocative vintage ride appeal, W800 is the evolution of the authentic Original Icon, making yesterday alive today.
Model Year: 2025 Engine: Air-cooled, 4-stroke, V-twin Displacement: 773

Traditional Instrumentation
Faces on the classic dual-dial instrumentation feature model-specific typeface, reflecting the character of the W800.

Large Round Turn Signals
Large round turn signals with orange lenses (instead of compact clear turn signals†) add to the classic styling. Chrome turn signal bodies contribute to the high-quality looks.

Iconic 773 cm3 Vertical Twin Engine
Long-stroke engine tuned for low-mid range performance delivers plenty of torquey feel-good power. The rich engine pulse reminds riders that they are piloting a Twin engine machine. Fuel injection delivers clean, efficient, hassle-free operation. Unlike the predominantly black engines of the W800 STREET and CAFE, the W800’s engine is mostly a brilliant silver, which draws attention to its classic form and inherent beauty.

High-Quality Looks
In addition to the model-specific colour & graphics, a number of features further distinguish the W800 from the W800 STREET and CAFE while contributing to its high-quality looks.

Convenient Equipment
Centre stand, featured standard, facilitates maintenance chores. Large stepping surface make it easy to lift the bike onto the stand.

Chrome tank emblems
Chrome tank emblems complement the tank’s lustrous paint. Knee pads on the tank feature the same design as the W800 CAFE.

Vintage-Style Riding Position: Seat
Long, comfortable tuck & roll seat with thick, ribbed padding has plenty of room for rider and passenger. The front of the seat was shaped to facilitate the reach to the ground, and the seat features piping around the edge.

Round LED Headlamp
A blend of retro and modern designs, the large Ø 170 mm LED headlamp casts a bright, white light for great night-time visibility. It features six chambers (four for low-beam, two for high-beam). Position lamps in the highbeam chambers ensure the whole lamp appears lit, like a retro-style bulb headlamp. Details like a convex lens and chromed headlamp ring add to the high-quality, classic design.

Vintage-Style Riding Position: Standard Handlebar
The W800 handlebar puts the rider in a relaxed riding position, between that of the upright, “classic bike” style position of the W800 STREET and the sporty forwardleaning position of the W800 CAFE. (The handlebar position is the same as that of the previous W800.)

Vintage Ride Feel: Larger 19” Front Wheel
Large-diameter 19” front and 18” rear wheels give the W800 its classic handling: a fine balance of relaxed, light turning and straight-line stability. The large front wheel especially contributes a characteristic unhurried steering feeling. By comparison, the 18”/18” wheels of the W800 STREET and CAFE deliver slightly sportier handling.

Sound Tuning
Sound tuning enhances the exhilaration a Kawasaki motorcycle offers by complementing the sensations the rider feels with a carefully crafted auditory component.

Assist & Slipper Clutch
Based on racing technology, the Assist & Slipper Clutch acts as both a back-torque limiter and a self-servo mechanism that enables a lighter clutch lever pull.

ABS
ABS (Anti-lock Brake System) ensures stable braking performance by preventing wheel lock during braking.

ERGO-FIT
ERGO-FIT is an interface system that allows a wide range of riders to feel at one with their machine.

Dual Throttle Valves
Dual Throttle Valves offer increased power and greater ease of use care of a second set of ECU-controlled throttle valves.
