Like the rest of the KTM- SX-F range, the KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION comes with totally tool-free suspension setup at both ends. The shock absorber design features hand-adjustable dual compression control, it allows riders to tweak high- and low-speed settings in a matter of seconds. On the front end, the forks are also easily changeable thanks to a single air pressure preload valve, as well as easy access click adjusters for compression and rebound. We'll even throw the air pump in as standard.
BREATHE EASY
The KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION uses a one-piece air inlet sleeve and snorkel construction for more durability and less possibility for air deformation. Designed to provide maximum airflow, the air filter box also comes with a special black vented cover. The Twin Air filter and air filter support have a simple fail-proof mounting system for safe and accurate filter installation, ensuring the filter is easily accessed and, therefore easy for maintenance.

Shape your KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION quickly and easily with the Connectivity Unit Offroad. This two-part system is mounted between the right fork leg (protected by the shape of the number plate) and the GPS component on the redesigned front fender. The 'CUO' enables a wealth of easily adjustable options for engine behavior and suspension settings via the KTMConnect App. But that's not all. An official affiliation with LITPro will empower all riders to examine their lines, speed, air-time, throttle position, and other information to make their lap-times worthy of the KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION.
TOTAL TRACTION
The map select switch on the KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION features a simple design, allowing for easier functionality in switching between 2 engine maps. Map 1 provides a more linear power curve. while map 2 punches all-out with aggressive throttle and explosive delivery. Luckily, traction control is easy toggled to an on-or-off position from the same switch, ensuring maximum traction and a distinct advantage in wet or muddy conditions.
DROP THE CLUTCH
The KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION uses launch control and a Quickshifter function, allowing for fast upshifts without using the clutch. Launch control is easily engaged by pressing the traction control and Quickshifter buttons simultaneously and works by limiting the amount of power to the rear wheel, improving traction, and preventing loss of control under hard acceleration. Meanwhile, the Quickshifter function means you can bang through from 2nd to 5th gear with your focus solely on the first corner. Honing starts is made easier with the KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION due to the WP FACTORY START DEVICE that lends useful compression on the front forks and is easily engaged and then disengaged when blasting into action.
UNMATCHED PERFORMANCE
The KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION boasts the best 4-stroke powerplant in the paddock, with its SOHC engine proving to be the perfect example of advanced engineering. The engine is tilted 2° backward, resulting in a 3mm lower front sprocket position, meaning greatly improved mass centralization. Fixed on special black 'race' mounts (to help with chassis flex) with a peak output of over 47 HP, and an overall weight of only 26.1kg, this motor will leave the competition with more than a little mud on the face and has proved to be an authentic holeshot king in MX2 Grands Prix. An Akrapovic slip-on exhaust adds an important aesthetic to the KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION but also peels away more weight and adds even more punch to the power.

The chassis concept remains strong, and Red Bull KTM FACTORY RACING continues to win races and set records at the highest level with the same principle. The chassis repositions rotating mass closer to the center of gravity. The shock mounting also provides improved anti-squat behavior to better traction out of corners, while the footpeg mounting position has moved inwards for less risk of hooking up in deep ruts or when scrubbing jumps.
FLUID RIDER MOTION
The KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION features a refined rider triangle, providing improved knee contact - especially when standing on the pegs - with improved gripping surfaces all around. The plastics work to expel mud buildup in wet, muddy conditions. A flatter seat profile with a ribbed FACTORY seat - lighter, thinner, and more resistant - permits exceptional rider movement and control. The polyamide reinforced aluminum subframe further enhances rider feel and feedback.
UNMATCHED PERFORMANCE
Enjoy soft, grey ODI grips on the KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION without a complicated or sticky mounting process. The material is primed for sensitive but demanding racers. The left side of the handlebar does not require gluing while on the right, the vulcanised grip features an innovative integrated throttle mechanism.

UNFLAPPABLE FRONT END
Count on 310mm of travel with the 48mm air type WP XACT front fork, with a split damping function providing all the confidence you need to attack the track. The KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION's forks come with hydrostops in the fork legs improving bottoming-out resistance and account for less rebound when attacking big jumps and bumps. Fork protection rings also increase protection against dirt, making them as reliable as they are awesome.
RACING ON RAILS
Another KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION upgrade is the stiffer and tougher rear brake pedal material that will pull the full power of the Brembo systems into play. The pedal is more resistant to unwanted contact and obstacles. The braking force is augmented by the semi-floating 260mm front brake disc and the carbon reinforced FACTORY brake guard.
PRECISE, LAP AFTER LAP
A WP XACT rear shock absorber provides unmatched consistency lap after lap, thanks to low-friction linkage seals and advanced damping characteristics for unsurpassed traction and energy absorption. To suite the KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION linkage settings have been reworked for optimal weight saving and stiffness. The linkage bolt is smaller and lighter and transferred directly from successful use by the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team.
UNOBTRUSIVE IMPACT
The KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION is rock-solid at any speed thanks to a repositioned and forged steering head connection and CNC milled orange anodized triple clamps. Made from high-grade aluminum, these feature optimally tuned steering stem stiffness, perfect alignment of the fork tubes, and precise geometry of the fork clamps to ensure highly responsive and smooth fork action - not to mention unwavering stability when charging across ruts.
