The layered, low-friction design allows the layers to slide over each other upon impact, dispersing energy and minimizing direct force to the shoulder.

Construction
  • The innovative AFD shoulder construction features a multi-layer design, comprised or consisting of the external jersey layer, a high-flex, low-friction welded film, an additional circular low-friction welded film, and an inner silicone grip zone in direct contact with the rider’s shoulders. This combination of materials keeps the AFD construction securely anchored in place on the rider's shoulders, with the silicone grip providing stability on the inner side. Meanwhile, the outer layers are free to move and slide over each other, effectively dissipating impact energy for enhanced shoulder protection.

  • The jersey is built entirely from advanced stretch mesh with localized perforations, providing an ultra-lightweight and highly ventilated construction.
  • Extensive, strategically positioned laser-cut perforations throughout the upper and lower arms, sides, and armpit areas provide additional airflow and ventilation.
  • Innovative Stretchnet construction, incorporating fully elastic material on the back, provides extensive stretch and strength while delivering premium ventilation.
